muzzleloader kits

Recently built a muzzle loader kit, the Traditions Kentucky Rifle and built it with my son. Came out great with a nice, hand-rubbed linseed oil finish. Fun to shoot with traditional ball. As with many of these kits, it will require some minor woodworking on the stock and forearm. Might need to get the dremel tool out. But, I think this adds a bit to the authenticity of building a kit. Suggest if interested.

Nice job. I think many of us black powder shooters started out building a kit gun.
