Shot a Lot of Them

Over the years I have owned and shot a lot of front-stuffers. I was on the Knight Hunting Advisory Board for quite some time and tested and shot many of the top brands and names. I came to one conclusion. The best muzzleloader you will ever shoot is the one you shoot the best.

Although I had and have my choice of any rifle on the market today, I shoot Knight that is several years old and probably outdated. I shoot it because from deer to elk to antelope, it has served me well and I enjoy shooting it. I have it sighted in to shoot 2" high at 100 yards and feel comfortable, providing a rest, to shoot anything out to 225-yards.

Although I have always been loyal to my employers, I have never felt brand names made much difference. The gun (bow, truck, boat) either performs well or it doesn't. This little buck was 185-yards out.

what is that behind it's head? rattling antlers?

Yes. I rattled this one in from about 300 yards. He hung up and that was as close as he was coming until he saw the source of the noise. That is a common response when trying to get one to cross a field.
