Barnes bullets

Has anyone else shot deer with these bullets?

Only shoot deer with these bullets if you want to recover your animal in the same place you shot it. Does this answer your question?

I started using the Barnes expander 250 gr in 50 cal this year. I didn't get the chance to take a deer with them but I shot them into milk jugs at 50 yards. If I remember right it went through 4 of them and stopped in the 5th. Expanded into 6 petals very equally. Although that isn't the same as shooting a deer with them, I was impressed.

thats all i hunt with and i never have missed a deer with them and i only had to follow one blood trail and that was only right over the hill. their rank
