interesting trade

Well..... after cleaning some of my garage, I located an older CB radio still in the box. Having truck drivers in everyday at work I posted it for sale. The trade went like this, a driver has a 1970's un-fired CVA 45cal mountain pistol in the box. This is a factory assembled percussion unit not a kit, even up for the CB and antenna. I have a CVA Mountain rifle so this will make a good set together and would sell them as a unit someday down the road. Let's see: CB radio vs a firearm

forgot to mention that many years ago the wife purchased one of these for Christmas and I sold it later, that was the first and only firearm she ever bought me, ouch...

It isn't too often you hear about someone taking a trucker for a ride.

Democracy is two wolves and a lamb voting on what to have for lunch.
Liberty is a well-armed lamb contesting the outcome of the vote.

well I did the trade but the pistol was a Colonial pistol not the Mountain pistol, what do drivers know anyway it was unfired in great shape. He's happy with a CB, I'm happy with another BP gun.

What is the diff?

Is it a flintlock instead of a percussion lock?

One would think Colonial flintlock but it's a percussion.
