Hunter's Education Instructor Discounts

For those who don't know, being a Hunter's Education volunteer instructor has many perks besides getting to help new hunters and kids introduced to the sport in a safe and sportsmanlike manner. One side benefit is that many companies in our business offer "instructor discounts" to active instructors. For example, I just put in an order for a Leupold VX-2 3-9x40 scope, as Leupold Optics offers a 50% off MSRP discount to instructors. The savings was considerable even compared to Cabela's or MidwayUSA's discount pricing, or any others.

FYI, in case you needed an incentive to become an active instructor.

I like this idea! Appreciate the suggestion. I have contemplated becoming one in the past, but the discounts and benefits might solidify my decision. I'm always on the look out for ways to add to my collections and just improve my experience overall, so I think that would be a huge asset, and all the while helping others find their skill and experience.
