boat work

AS I learn more about the Lund boat I purchased a potential problem came up. The fuel was from the original fill up according to the previous owner, makes sense with only 15 hour run time. While it smelled bad there wasn't any gelling up and ran clear when I pumped it out today. Hard to believe the 4 year old boat still had 11 gals from the first fill up still in it. I'm heading to get 10 gal of premium fuel and stabilizer for now. I expect some rough running when I fire it up later this spring in the driveway but should smoothe out with some added injector cleaner. I wish it was april...... temp this morning was below 0* again.
