cars

off topic, yesterday I had fun driving a new mustang, ss Camaro, and a corvette. Thinking of getting something. Mustang road like a brick, Camaro was pretty nice as it was a new 50th annv issue and a the corvette was just plain cool. Price on corvette prevents a purchase

The Corvette for me may be a great car, but it's no longer a Corvette in the true sense. Gimme a 68-71 Stingray any day even over the new ones. Same with the rest. They may embrace the looks of the vintage models, but you void the warranty if you do anything to try and make them the "pony/muscle car" they were developed as.

Well, I purchased a 2017 SS Camaro in black with red accents. At 455hp it runs pretty well. After warranty runs out maybe a supercharger will get ordered. I'll get a picture as soon at it gets home in a few days.

Finally got it home. Need a storage cover and let it sleep through the winter.

Wow, and I mean wow. Well, what I mean is, you can actually use your garage as a garage?!? :)

REALLY nice garage...

I have some buddies back home in Indiana(just like the song) that are total gear heads. Their garages are also sacred places for working on your beautiful cars not a place to put their work/transportation vehicles. The money they spent on having the floor sealed/painted was worth more than the truck I was driving at the time.

Never too much garage...

A guy that lived a couple of houses down from me moved into our neighborhood due to him downsizing. He had a six car garage home and moving down to a 3 car garage home. He said it was a pain but he could have used 12 cars worth of garage prior to the move. I guess whatever you have you will fill it. We used to have a Coleman popup in our 3rd stall of the garage and kept it there for over 10 years. We got a new camper sold the popup and the stall was suddenly filled with other stuff. At this time our 18ft Crownline fiberglass boat is sitting in the stall covered up. If we got rid of the boat something else would end up there.
