I didn't see a thread for posting pictures of this year's harvests, so I thought I'd start one. So, here it is.... now post up what you got!
So far i have killed two deer this fall using the same .54 caliber TC New Englander muzzleloader and patched round balls. One deer bang flopped and the other went about 20 yards after being hit.
Range: 40 yards
Range: About 70 yards
When is dinner ready???
Put me down for some venison backstraps.......
well didn't do well this year did not get out even close to the amount I usually do. I did get one doe early bow season but think I am done for this year still have a couple weeks but doesn't look good for getting back out!
Those .54 round balls work fantastic, don't they? That's my favorite muzzleloader caliber & load.
Well, I started this thread a week ago & was hoping to see more success pictures posted before I added mine! Oh well, here goes....
