Busy Busy Busy

Hope you are all doing well. Haven't been on in a while. Haven't even stepped foot in the woods at. No fishing at all this year either. Started a new job in May (same kind of work, different company, different people, long hours). Owner is a rich, arrogant, snobby little prissy pants that thinks he owns the employees and will find little sneaky ways to show you he's the boss. Example, I ask to be released no later than 5pm so I can get to the boxing gym at least once or twice a week. Then when football starts at least the same. Apparently, he showed me by sticking me on a job site 3 times the distance away North of the city of Buffalo so that I have to drive thru city rush hour traffic to get South where I need to be. Yeah I was released at 5 but what good is that when there are jobs closer to where I need to be. It's a sitework company where we prepare grounds for building foundations, storm, sewer, and water, retention ponds, parking lots, etc so work is scattered through WNY and we all are capable of doing the same work and alot of employees can work on the jobs closest to their homes but I've found out when someone gets sent far off then they probably upset prissy pants. As I get to know the other employees they tell me about the owner and I grow more and more disgusted each day about it. He does show up on sites and tries to be loud with us sometimes and almost tries to break ones spirit by showing his awesomeness. I have controlled myself so far but I feel like telling him that we all work for him but he does not own us and we don't owe him anything. I can go back to my other job but it doesn't pay half as well as this new one and it's close to home and hours are good. Decisions, sorry for the rant but my fingers kept typing...........on another note I have setup my boxing ring upstairs in our football building and I am going to start my boxing club soon,,,,work permitting

I know what your talking about and how you feel. Delt with it for 25yrs and got worse and worse until I had enough. So much so that I left the trade all togeather. commercial const. super. We would have meetings with the owners of the buildings were would and He would tell them I did this and I did that. All he really done was sit in his office and piss people off

Born on a mountain raised in a cave huntin and fishin is all I crave
