22 ammo

Stopped at my go to store last night coming back from SE Ohio and not a single box of 22 ammo. The last trip they had all you could want. Bass Pro and now Fins, Fins and Feathers, nothing for 22. To be fair, they had a lot of ammo and some sales.

Same here HM it is hit or miss. I am just glad it is. Last year it was always a miss
I did pick up a couple boxes of 500 rounds for $23 at my go to store a few weeks ago so I am set for a little while but I guess I should look harder to really stock up

The last two times I stopped at a new Academy Sports store that recently opened here, I noticed stacks of .22 ammo right next to the check-out counter. Also saw some in a LGS when I picked up a new rifle I had delivered there. I was also to see this LGS with an excellent inventory of typical deer hunting ammo, from .243 thru .338WM.

If my failing memory serves me this is all quite unlike last year trying to find ammo locally. And that's a good thing!!

Our LGS has been able to restock almost everything..... except any flavor of 22 rimfire. They have cases and cases of all the prepper calibers like .223fmj, 9mm, 45acp, .308fmj, etc. But any 22 WMR or 22 LR that comes in vanishes so quickly the shelves don't even need dusting. It is ..... puzzling.
