first night

got down to SE Ohio and hunted for two hours, seeing a nice 8pt, 3-spikes, and a doe. Not bad, son's cam cards show a couple of nice bucks. Hopefully we can put a tag on a couple of them

Good Luck HM, my season is not going well at all, all of my best hunting spots are now over-run with hunters who aren't showing much respect for other hunters, Just yesterday I went into the woods at 6:00am still dark out, there wasn't another vehicle around when I got there, it was snowing and cold approx. 20 degrees. I made my way back to my spot and just as the sun began to rise I spotted 2 other hunters coming from my rear I don't care if other hunters hunt around me but these two dorks felt it was ok to follow my tracks right to me saying good morning as they walked past, I stood there shaking my head thinking "are you kidding me"? did that just happen? well Now I know it did and it didn't bother the next guy that pretty much did the same thing at least he had the sense to cut away and pass me by at about 40 yards, this isn't a small patch of woods this is 1172 Acres, plenty of room for several hunters there's no reason for this to happen. Personally if I saw fresh human tracks heading in I'd do my best to steer in a different direction. I have some private land I can hunt on, 70 acres but it is rugged hunting terrain and with my ankle lately I don't dare attempt those rugged lands, the 70 acres is joined by several thousand other acres, you could hunt days up there and not see another hunter but it's hard mountainous terrain and the deer are really hard to find up there. ok, now that I vented a little, I feel much better. Oh Well Good Luck and Happy Safe hunting to All

Good Luck to both of you guys & BB I feel your pain sometimes that is the problem with NH & Vermont being able to hunt were ever as long as it is not posted. I have had that happen more times then I can count. two years ago
during youth weekend My daughter & I got into a spot before light & about 15 min into legal shooting a guy & his kid setup 40 yards from us waved & said we always sit here they were putting on a drive for the kids we packed up & left.

thanks all, the doe tag had to be used up last Sunday in Ohio, I couldn't pass up a 20 yd broadside shot on the last day for the doe tags. She is now in the freezer and will be enjoyed by my family and friends.
