the other supervisors decided to pay me back I guess. 8 straight 12 hour midnights are getting tough on this old body. I finish a 84 hour dayshift on Nov 1st and leave the next morning for PA. Takes a couple of days to relax after a long shift like that. We have three deer hunter supervisors so time off in Oct/Nov is highly sought.

I hear ya HM I am working OT myself & more this week so I can get out early 1/2 day on Friday leaving NH @ 10AM
2 days to go & weather out there is looking a little to warm may or may not be productive hunts but it still is vacation

we're warming up here in Ohio also, but good luck GFD2. I hope a cool front moves in for you and for my PA pre-rut and full rut hunt in two weeks. Always better than working.

reports are huge acorn mast this year may or may not be a good thing as out of 6,000 acres we hunt I would say at least 4,000 are oaks may take a few days to find them but reports are the scrape activity has picked up really good the last couple days

The guys coming in to work this morning saw 4 Ohio giants on the move. Pre-rut signs now showing up.
