I remember years ago it was nothing to go into the woods and spot 20 to 30 deer every day I spent in the woods but times have changed now it's the hardest hunting I'll ever do, most Vermont hunters today are spotting them by chance, by either jumping them out of beds or bumping into them as they enter or exit the woods.
if the moon and stars come together in perfect alignment, the deer will be there (lol) otherwise a hunter has to be on top of his skills with scouting, scent control, slow movements/motions and visual awareness but I continue to hunt and learn more and more year after year, all I can, about the most elusive and majestic creature on earth... the Whitetail Deer
