Years of fighting off cold, discomfort, and frustration disappeared last hunting season with one simple purchase. I purchased a complete outfit, Base Series (top) and Base Series Leggings (bottom) to try and find some under clothing that works for me. Although a bit pricey, the outfit kept me warm and it almost wears like a second skin. The bottom did not ride up on my back or did not sag down even throw the hell of going up and down a stand and walking long distances. The fly on the bottoms even worked without staying open or unable to open. The crew shirt not only gives you complete freedom of movement, but also stays tucked in your bottoms. I chose the 2.0 series because of the climate here in southern middle TN. It kept me warn and comfortable which enabled stay in the woods longer.
For under 100$ the Under Armour Base layer gear in my mind is a steal.

Sitka Gear Core top and bottoms
I have been using the sitka gear base layers for about a year now, they are kind of pricey, but well worth the money. Sitka makes gear that works for serious hunter, or those that think they are.
RedHead EnduraSkin Performance Base Layer

RedHead Mountain Bear Socks
