Item: Sitka Gear Core top and bottoms
Message: I have been using the sitka gear base layers for about a year now, they are kind of pricey, but well worth the money. Sitka makes gear that works for serious hunter, or those that think they are, and their products built with quality and durability in mind. I use the core top and bottoms in the winter in sub twenty temps into the fifties. I usually top them with some medium weight bibs and jacket and thats it, any more and its too warm. If you want a good base layer that is low loft and warm and will last for years, the sitka gear is it.
Some Other Reviews from Undergarments
Under Armour Cold Gear, Base Series
Years of fighting off cold, discomfort, and frustration disappeared
last hunting season with one simple purchase. I purchased a complete
outfit, Base Series (top) and Base Series Leggings (bottom) to try and
find some under clothing that works for me.
RedHead Mountain Bear Socks
Wow, who wants to talk about socks? Well if you have ever been setting in the wood or out on a boat you probably do want to sock talk. I have personably tried dozens of brands of socks and have finally found a brand
RedHead EnduraSkin Performance Base Layer
This is not a good product. You might save a few dollars by buying this product instead of Under Armor but the difference in this product and Under Armor is like daylight and dark.
