I received this rifle as a Christmas present several years back from my wife. I cannot complain about the rifles performance. It is Remington’s low end model that comes with a cheap premounted Bushnell Scope. The rifle is accurate and for a cheap scope it has done the job. If you have a limited budget and need a high powered rifle with a scope already on it I would recommend this gun. The plastic trigger gets on my nerves and the scope will need to be replaced after about 3 years.
Synthetic stock can take a beating
Scope already mounted
Scope will only last a couple of years
Like I said before you get what you pay for. $300 will buy you an
accurate gun that is woods ready, but if your budget will allow I
would move up to a higher priced model and put your own scope of
choice on it.

Daisy VL 22 Rifle
I obtained this rifle in a trade with my brother-in-law back in the 80’s. His Dad bought it for him as a gift. It is lightweight and easy to carry.
Remington Model 740 Woodsmaster
I inherited a couple of ‘old’ Remington semi-auto rifles several years back that had belonged to my grandfather. One of them is the Woodsmaster in .244 caliber. No, that’s not a typo…
Savage Model 10 Predator Hunter Rifle
About 5 years back I had to sell my deer rifle to make ends meet around Xmas. When things got better I bought a new Savage Model 10 in .243 caliber.
