I recently purchased a pair of Red Head boots at my local Bass Pro Shop. They are all camo, completely waterproof, and have 800 grams of thinsulate insulation.
The boots have canvas uppers and a fairly rugged sole. They were on sale for $49.99 marked down from $89.99. What a deal! I wore these boots quite a bit this season in all kinds of weather. They are definitely waterproof I walked through streams, puddles, mud, and snow never did my feet get wet.
These boots were plenty warm as well as comfortable to walk in. The only complaints would be a very strong new shoe smell, and they seem to run a little small and narrow.
Definitely try them on with the type of sock you would wear in the field. I hunt about maybe thirty days year and for the money would suggest them.

I will have to say that my first experience with Muck Boots was a very pleasant one. I have had trouble with my feet getting cold while I was hunting but the Muck Boots I purchased did the trick.
