Reminds me of my younger days out shooting Texas jackrabbits with my grandfather. We would bring one or two home and then my great-grandmother would make a pot of rabbit stew. Back then I was more like the smallest of the bunch in the picture, now I'm more like the guy on the right - tall and skinny.

I made 2 rabbit hunts in Feb 07 in Natchez, Ms. The first hunt, we had 5 dogs and 5 hunters. We killed 21 rabbits. The next wee, we had 10 dogs and 10 hunters and killed 41 rabbits. Most fun I've had in a long time. I'll try to post a picture.

rabbit hunting is a great hunt...its challenging but fun......did you guys use .22's or shotguns?
