Dropped this doe on the last day of the season here in Texas. Used the pictured .244/6mm Remington that was handed down from my grandfather. Am having way too much fun with it to consider retiring. Added the Simmons 3x9x40 scope mid-way through the season and now have quite the lethal combination. Doe dropped right where she stood from about 90-95 yards.
