I took this buck this morning at about 7 o'clock. The first one of the season for me! My dad and I were on a friend's land in Emory, TX (Rains County). I was in the blind 20 minutes when he came by. I scoped him out for a bit to make sure he had a spread of at least 13 in. (a Rains County deal). Took him in one shot, although it was a bit of a gut shot :( . Around 125 yards.
