Me and my son saw this deer during the early blackpowder season. We knew he was a shooter but had no idea he was this nice. During modern rifle season we tried to beat him to a winter weat field that we had spotted him in. No luck no matter how early we got there he was already there and busted us coming in. The last sunday of the season we set up a blind in the field and stayed all night, bagged him in our pjs monday morning at first light. This was and still is the largest buck I have killed and I was able to do it with my son along.
