1 Ham (partially cooked, ready to serve, or ready to cook ham)
1/4c. brown mustard
2c. Brown Sugar
1-ounce Bourbon (in a spritz bottle)
2c. Ginger Snaps Cookies- finely crushed
Heat oven to 250* degreesF.
Tent ham with heavy duty foil, and cook for 3-4 hours or until temp. reads at 130*degrees F.
Heat oven to 350* degrees F.
Pat dry ham with paper towels, then brush on a liberal coat of mustard, using either a basting brush or a clean paint brush( Clean meaning never been used). Sprinkle on brown sugar, packing loosely as you go until the ham is coated. Spray this layer lightly with bourbon, then loosely pack on as much crushed cookies as you can.
Return to oven (uncovered). Cook about 1 hour or until temp reaches 140* degrees F.
Let ham rest 1/2 hour before carving.
This is the best ham you'll ever taste.
