Default Potato Casserole and Elk

Potato Casserole and Elk

1 pound ground elk or ground deer
1 minced onion
3-4 sliced potatoes
½ cup ketchup
½ cup brown sugar
1 large can pork and beans
1 cup cheese
8-10 strips of bacon

Pre-heat oven to 375 degrees.
Brown elk and onion (add water, bouillon or coffee if necessary); put in greased 9x13 inch baking dish. Add potatoes, then cheese. Mix beans, brown sugar, and ketchup; pour over cheese layer. Top with strips of bacon. Bake 45-60 minutes.

Tomorrow night, I will be preparing to leave for our Annual DEER BOAR BEAR hunt. I will be preparing the WORLD FAMOUS pistolettes.

Sub sandwich bread that is hollowed out
Browned Deer meat ground
Broccoli and velveeta cheese all mixed together and stuffed in the bread


GOOD HOT OR COLD!!!!

why dont you create a thread for that recipe. it sounds very easy to do and kinda tasty. im gonna try it
