Default i need quail recipes

does anyone have recipes for bobwhite quail i raised about 80 of them and i did eat some i put them on the grill with salt pepper and butter in tin foil but im looking for more ideas thanks

Dip the quail breast in a little flour, then dip in egg, then dredge a second time in seasoned flour. Brown them off in a olive oil/butter mixture; you don't have to cook them till done. Place them in a slow cooker/crockpot and put a can of cream of chicken, a can of cream of mushroom, one onion sliced fairly fine, salt, pepper and a can of chicken broth. Let it cook at least 8 hours, then serve it with wild rice pilaf or over noodles. It's very good!

Default Quail recipes

I saw my dad cooking a quail and i think he put
sweet and sour sauce, some sugar, white vinegar, cornstarch, some honey mustard, garlic powder and ketchup. The taste was awesome! you have to try it

I just downloaded a free book a couple of months ago on camping and cooking game. It was old...but full of some pretty good recipes and camping tips...I just found the url for you...Hunting Ducks and Geese

I used to do this with mourning dove and see no reason why it would not work with quail. I simply heated a pan of olive oil and added 2 or 3 sliced jalapeno peppers and cooked them till they became soft and then added the dove breasts, salt and pepper to taste and cook till done. the peppers added just enough heat and taste to compliment the dish but not so much as to over power it.

i like my quail BBqed.. Breast out and de-bone the breast. Take the seeds and stuff out of a jalapeno. Stuff pepper with cream cheese wrap quail breast around it. wrap whole thing with bacon and put it on the grill. grill it in the upright position...
