Default easy marinade

1/2 c water
1/2 c soy sauce
1 tblsp lemon juice
1 tblsp oil
3 tblsp br sugar ( I usually go a little heavy on this)
garlic powder ( I don,t know how much, just shake a generous amount)
A few dashes of tobasco

marinate for a day before grilling

I almost forgot one important ingredient, one back strap or roast.

Sounds good, I like the way you measure :) a shake of this and a dash of that, it's the only way to do it.

Ain't back strap best fresh without any marinade, just as a steak?
I'd put some dry rub on it and grill as if I'd do a steak and making sure I'm not overdoing it too much
