Venison Steak Topped with Tomatoes and Honey
I was feeling inventive last night and wanted to share my creation with all of you. If you try it out let me know what you think.
1 venison steak about 1/2" think
Spread butter over the top of the steak (like buttering a piece of bread)
Cut cherry tomatoes in half and cover the steak
Sprinkled peper over the steak
Drizzled Honey over the steak and tomatoes
Baked at 350º for about 20 minutes, unitl desired doneness.
One change I might try nexttime would be to use thinner slices of tomatoes.

Very juicy steak. Both my wife and I throughly enjoyed it. I'm not a huge fan of tomatoes but am trying to make them grow on me.
sounds like good stuff, maybe a little olive oil will work on the tomatoes...kind of like that bruschetta stuff...i don't like tomatoes much but bruscetta tastes good
Sounds good. I worked for a bee keeper for about 10 years, so I like stuff with honey. However, I'm out of venison already, so hopefully I will remember this recipe next year.
Next time try bell peppers--onions and sliced potatoes and simmer until all is done. make sure ur deer meat stays on bottom.
