What your friends say is true! I used to think there was nothing better than sitting in a tree stand. Now, I only deer hunt when I can't go duck hunting. It is very addictive.

My favorite duck is the blackduck followed by the big canvasback. Nothing more majestic than a trio of cans coming into the layout rig. I can still call ducks pretty well but never got the hang of goose calling. Giant Canadian goose is an awsome sight,
