the colder the better.watch the weather channel, when you see a front coming your way get out to the field the ducks will be coming with the front.the shore is great to hunt from just make sure you can retrieve any birds you shoot.wear waders, know the water depth and warm cloths.remember water always finds a way to get you wet.the classic is you grab a bird or decoy ,hand gets wet,you raise your shotgun to shoot ,water in the armpit.THT WILL MAKE YOU FREEZE YOUR A..S OFF.
Now therefore take, I pray thee, thy weapons, thy quiver and thy bow, and go out to the field, and take me some venison.
Genesis 27:3 "The thinking deer hunter should mature through three phases during his hunting life. First phase, "I need to kill a deer." Second phase, I want to harvest a nice deer. And last phase, we must manage this resource so our children and their children can experience the grand tradition of good deer hunting." - Jim Slinsky
