Has anyone ever eaten Coot? Cuz I was told they taste like crap,but it's realy not that bad if you wrap it up in bacon and fry it.

coot ie mud duck. fish tasting and I would not reccomend it for table fare.

i read on the DU site to slow cook in the crockpot with lots of seasonings
