I'm going to join in on this conversation too. I'm going to start predator hunting as well and have NEVER set out to JUST coyote hunt. Any tips from anyone? I did just purchase a battery powered predator call that can reach up to 40yds w/remote. I'm mainly hunting them to get the numbers down.... but would be interested in selling the pelts if there is any money in them.
If you hunt coyotes, do you sell the pelts? If so to who? How much do they go for?
What type of gun do you use to hunt them? Honestly, If i'm not going to be selling the pelts, I'm going to be packing my 30-.06---- I know this is over kill but I want them history. There are way too many of them.
geeze don't know how I missed this
All I know is they are tough to hunt best is to bait them & play the wind
most guys here hunt them at night with motion sensing lights over a bait pile
