Turkey Pics

checked my trail cam the other day and was pleasantly surprised to see that i had these gobblers out and about in my woods. Haven't been turkey hunting long though,,, only about 2 years. I'm not into turkey hunting as much as I am deer.

Stupid question for you experienced turkey hunters, but are there any gobblers in these pics that you can see? I looked and can't find any beards w/my naked eye. thanks

Nevermind the time guys, that's another THING that ticks me off about those wildgame innovation cameras! ERRRR

Lots of birds there tator. Only hens I'm afraid to tell you. But the big toms are in need of hens in the spring time. I like turkey hunting the same as deer. Hunting spring turkey is much more active than hunting deer. You can get yourself really involved in hunting turkey.

Thanks TG, that's what I thought. I couldn't make the pics out very well. Those turkeys blend in well with the natrual surroundings via photographs. if you look in the background you can see one of my ladder stands. This is mainly my turkey stand and my deer rut stand. There's always nice trails going through right where those turkeys are standing...

Toms are just like bucks the mature ones only show up for the fun during mating season (spring) There may be imature jakes mixed in at times but in the spring a mature gobbler will push them out. looks like a good general area for spring with a little scouting you should be in good shape.
