i musta been a good boy

i've been out looking for huntable turkeys. i've been seeing a few birds in the same ole places. but i found 4 toms in 4 new sort of hidden secert places. hope they hang around for the season to open may 3rd. and if you're hunting in nh everything i just said was a lie except the part about the may 3rd opener.

ronn, 90% of the roosted birds are on ridges overlooking valleys here. Do you think the birds prefer that type of area or is it just somewhere they happened to be at in the evening????

its a preferance. they want to be heard so roosts seem to be over looking something. a lot of times its water of some sort.
