end of season

wellthe NY season is over got till wait till fall to get my bird.Just wasnt ment to be this year, between the weather, illnes and car trouble i only got out 7-10 days heard birds sa 2 but never could close the deal.Oh well ,thats why they call it hunting and not killing

Now therefore take, I pray thee, thy weapons, thy quiver and thy bow, and go out to the field, and take me some venison.
Genesis 27:3 "The thinking deer hunter should mature through three phases during his hunting life. First phase, "I need to kill a deer." Second phase, I want to harvest a nice deer. And last phase, we must manage this resource so our children and their children can experience the grand tradition of good deer hunting." - Jim Slinsky

thats what i like about hunting. the hunt never ends until we get too old to do it anymore or we pass on out of this world. there is always another season coming up to give you another chance at whatever animal your trying to hunt. "I did not get him this season but I am already looking forward to trying again next season." I dont see what people do that dont enjoy the great outdoors.

going tomorrow to my dads house check on the deer skull i left from this years kill see how the bugs are doing im going to make a european mount. If all goes well maybe do some scouting once this monsoon were having is over. The season never ends always something to do .Scout.trim trails practice the bow, rifle ,shotgun.go skeet or trap shooting.Im thinking of trying trapping this year got to get a permit first, one more thing to do .I LOVE THIS STUFF

Now therefore take, I pray thee, thy weapons, thy quiver and thy bow, and go out to the field, and take me some venison.
