Ground hogs!!!!

i shot a groundhog with my bow at 20 yards and it flew thru him. lost the arrow but got a groundhog with a hole in it. do you know how hard it is to get one of em at 20 to 30 yards!!!!!!!!!!!!!! my grandpa owns some land i shot em on and there used to be thousands of em. now that he killed them with poisinous buble gum there aint any more to shoot........ i found that if u use blunt tips you wont loose arrows as often as if you use fieldtips on them.

good shooting.a ground hog is a pretty small target.

Now therefore take, I pray thee, thy weapons, thy quiver and thy bow, and go out to the field, and take me some venison.
Genesis 27:3 "The thinking deer hunter should mature through three phases during his hunting life. First phase, "I need to kill a deer." Second phase, I want to harvest a nice deer. And last phase, we must manage this resource so our children and their children can experience the grand tradition of good deer hunting." - Jim Slinsky

I shot one three times with 6 shot out of my 12 guage. That darn thing still ran into his hole. So I went a got a shovel and closed every hole I could find. I'm still not certain he's dead.
