New rabbit/squirrel gun

I need a new rabbit/squirrel gun i have a 22 but its hard to hit running animals so i need a shot gun any suggestions thanks

A single shot 410 or a 20 gauge would be just fine for a rabbit, and it wouldn't cost much more than $100 either. H&R makes some good single shot shotguns for like $120 new. On squirrels I only use .22 with subsonic ammo.

Can you hunt deer with the 410 slug, can it take them down and is it legal in wisconsin.

I setteled on a Rossi 410 for $110 at fleet farm in case u want to know thanks for the input.

Thats what I have been using is the rossi .410...the thing is awesome and super light. In the state of Wisconsin it is illegal to use a .410 for deer hunting.

i use a savage 24 22 on top and 20 on bottom its a great gun i love it. good luck.
