I am interested in purchasing an air rifle to hunt small game. Anyone have experience with Gamo air rifles?

Are these rifles a break barrel or do you have to pump them like 7-8 times?

I own a Gamo air rifle. Its a break barrel. I have had it for a couple of years and I am still impressed with its 1000 fps accuracy.

I Have A Crossman 1000fps.its A Nice Air Rifle But The Accuracy Isn't Very Good Ok But Not Good.this Is A Break Open Barrel Type.cheap Price.i Guess You Get What You Pay For.

I have a beeman R-1 it's not chep but well worth the money I have shot all kinds of small game with it and even a turkey. a tack driver out to about 50 or 60 yards its a brake barrle with lot of power..

its not just about killin stuff man you have to enjoy the hunt for more than just shooting stuff. i was always told dont shoot nothing you aint ready to clean and eat. remember that before you pull the trigger. but as per your question if you can shoot pellets it opens up a little more but really i wouldnt say much with just BBs. if you hit something just right then you can kill very small game but thats about it in my opinion

if you get a high powered winchester air rifle they last for ever and are very good for even partridge if your a good shot
