DE deer hunt

I go late season hunting but never for does... always trying to get that late season buck w/my archery tag.

Sorry hunter didn't mean to put "the thought" in your head.
I will probably hunt the late season again as the area we hunt has
45 crop damage permits. To quote the fellow who owns the farm and woods,
"if i see a deer go past one of your blinds and you step out a few hours later I can find four other guys to do the job"
No one is perfect what if I miss???

hmm sounds like a nice guy! but, on the other hand, I see his frustration. It's unreal how deer can completely tear up a whole bean or corn field (if there's enough of them).

Our season ends Dec. 21st or there about so we usually don't run into that problem in NY. I once hit a doe with my truck in Feb., got a tag from trooper for the deer... she had 2 perfectly formed fawns the size of a pepsi can, buck and a doe, I felt bad but like someone said... ain't the last deer on earth and nothing I could do... gooood viddles that doe was
The fawns I gave to a friend who is a taxidermist.
