I've been told I can be stubborn too, hard to change my ways now. I'm old school on deer hunting and do most in Ohio, PA and Michigan. 223 is not legal in PA that I know of, I think they start at .224. This new/old sav 250-3000 can be loaded with a barnes 115 gr bullet and is legal in PA. I hope to try it out next year.

Is the .224 thing the bullet diamter? The .223 rem shoots a .224 diameter bullet.

what i think he meant to type was .24, most states that have the caliber restriction starts at a .24 cal bullet. but if its .224, then my .223 would technically be legal, considering it shoots a .224 DIA bullet.
