Yup, as soon as you cross the PA/Ohio border you're right around "home." Generally it's a nice area. Public hunting land is becoming less productive and land owners are pretty strict with handing out permission though.
So i have a 870 express 20 gauge and i've doing some research and saw an article on how to make my slug gun into a better deer rifle. Has anyone tried to put a new trigger kit into to make the pull easier?
Ive had this problem all so in my 870. It happens very rarely. The 870 is a good pump shotgun. It is alot better then a Mossberg 500. If i were u i would buy an 870 express mag
I have two 12 guage 870 Express,one is a magnum the other is not,they are both about 20 years old and have been trouble free.I put a Hastings rifled barrel on the magnum soon after I bought it and just added a cheap (about $50) Tasco scope on it this summer.I have to admit the eye relief is a little short.Here is 3 shots at 100 yards with the new scope.
Not bad shootin there. Have you tried different ammo brands?
