i need to ask a question. im not familier with season from different states. i live in illinois and our gun season is in november and december. y is iowas so early in the year.

Its the first weekend of dec..Really i think the reson we have a great number of big bucks is because we don't get to gun hunt when the rut is on.

iowa is kinda ahead of the curve and maybe its why they have big old bucks. the last i knew they purposely don't gun hunt the rut. some other states are strating to do the same with split gun seasons.
