Default Best slugs for 870 Exp Rifled Barrel??

Unfortunately with three little kids I have very little to no time to zero in so was looking for suggestions on which slugs (I assume sabots) to purchase for my 870 rifled barrel. Have used Remingtons and Winchesters and if I recall thought the Winchester sabots were better..thoughts?? Also am hunting in Ohio woods do I need 3" slugs or will 2 3/4" do the trick?? Thank you in advance for your help and suggestions..happy hunting!

Right now I'm shooting 2 3/4" Hornady SST sabots out of an 870 with a rifled barrel with good results. In the past I have taken deer with the 2 3/4 Winchester Super X sabots, they are a little slow for my taste but they get the job done, 1400 fps if I remember right and the Hornadys are 1800 fps. The only way to find the best slugs for you gun is by testing a few kinds but that is just what I use.
