Looking for good sabot slugs

you're not suppose to run slugs down an over bore. shot shells only.

3x9x50 on see thru rings.the group was at 100 yards,I don't think I mentioned that.The slugs are 1oz. hour glass shaped .50 cal. and you will have no question as to how lethal they are once you hit your first deer with one of these sabots.They are simply devastating.

question for ya. if i'm doing the math right thats like a 4+" group? what is the base canterlever? side mount? drilled and tapped?

I only count the first and third shot,that's a three quarter inch group,lol.

By the way it's a cheap plastic side mount and the tasco cost me $45.

did you call the high one? if so thats pretty good. so what is the base for the scope?

oh okay. you don't have to keep changing posts for differnt thoughts.

i've thought about that mount for my turkey gun. only without the see through rings. not a fan of them for a multitude of reasons.

Give me one good reason.I like them for close range shots and quick and easy target aquisition.
