I thought I had gunsafes figured out..oh well
 

I was all ready to buy a couple of the Winchester safes at Tractor Supply to secure my firearms. It only took one youtube video with an expert pointing out how the entry level safes I was looking at are garbage put me back to square one. I guess it could be worse I haven't bought the safes yet. Short version of his talk, thick composite doors are bad. Real plate steel doors are good. Good safes cost a lot of money, I guess I knew that.

I'm at the same point that you are. But those Winchester safes show up here in town at Costco, and there are very few other options due to shipping weight and costs.
