| hey everyone, i wanted to get your opinion on a little deer i got... its a 120 pound (dressed) spikehorn. obviously thats not GREAT but i thought it would make for some good eating. do you guys think so? it was running when i shot it so i really shoulded have taken the shot.. luckily it pierced the spinal cord. how are the rest of you faring? now ill just be going out with my dad till he gets his. good luck everybody!! |

| sorry, no pics.. the only pictures we got were on cameras that are uncompatable with the computer.Thanks for the support everybody, its people like you that make hunting what it is. people around here are to stuck on big antlers and a head to put over there beds than the actual sport of the hunt. theres a difference between blasting a buck from 500 yards away with a jacked up magnum and a 350$ scope and being out in the woods, trying to stay quiet and sneaking up on a deer. good luck to everyone out there! |

| well said by all!!! it is the average hunter that i have the most respect for. shoot whatever kind of deer you want too. if its a trophy to you, thats all that matters. if you decide to take only big bucks and like the challenge of it thats great too. its up to the person hunting to decide what they want to shoot. ill never complain about someone shooting a small deer. (unless your on a lease thats has rules that state otherwise) im a firm believer that if you join a lease then play by the rules. |
