| | Copper fouling noticed on the old Barnes bullets
I had loaded the old style Barnes bonded lead core bullets, these were replaced by their solid core x bullets. The old bullets used pure copper for the jacket and did leave alot of fouling. The new style x bullets are using an alloy that isn't suppose to foul like the old one did. I have never loaded Remington Core-locks, when I did shoot factory ammo I didn't notice that they were any worse than others at copper fouling. Again for factory ammo shooters I would be looking at Federal's Fusion line. I don't work for Federal, but I wish I did....
