deciding on my new rifle

ok so i work at a store that allows me to get a pro rate discount on guns that we sell streight from the manufaturer. I can choose from Remington, Browning, Marlin, Savage, Thomson, Ruger, Mossberg, and Rossi.
My question is if yall had a choise of gun in a 308 what one would yall choose and why? I only get one gun a year so this will help me choose it.

I'd probably go with a Savage or a Ruger because I like their actions. Savage is known for their accuracy as well.

For a .308 I agree on the Ruger or the Savage, Those would be my choices, both have long standing reputations
backed by excellent customer service should you ever need it. Good Luck on your choice.

I like the new Savage rifles, but you can't go wrong with an A-Bolt either. Great choice with the .308.

Savage is most likely your best bet. Browning as well. Both are great no matter what caliber you want.

What is your retail price point you are looking at???

Each manufacturer has their different offerings. Each are at a certain pricepoint. If you can buy at a discount, the discount should be constant so you can still compair apples to apples. Are you looking at entry level, mid level, or high level models?

For the money its hard to beat the Savage and they outshoot most rifles at triple the cost.I have to 116's 300wsm&3006 and both are sub moa with 5 shots. Most of em arent pretty but they all shoot.
