welll.....if you intend to go deer hunting i would suggest a .30-06 but if you are in a shotgun only area, then use a 12 gauge....its very versatile and it could be used for almost anything...

any rifle you choose will easiilly make it out to there. My advise would just to be see which one you like. If ur hunting thicker cover i would say like a 30-30 but if its more open go with a more flater trajectory.

welcome to the site and deer hunting in general. i like a 30-06 but at 100-150 yds you can use alot of different guns. hit up some of those guys your gonna hunt with and see if you can see their guns and try shooting them. then you can make a better choice.

<br /> 7 Mag all the way bro. Hit em in the neck or behind the shoulder, it doesn't matter. Shoot 150 gr ballistic tips and they'll drop where they stand. Great gun, I'll never own and thing else. Well, maybe a 7mm 08...

If you are prety new to hunting make sure you go to the range and get acurate before trying to drop a buck . dont want you to look for him all day. Ball and powder 50 cal will drop just about anything you hit good. good luck. and have fun

i agree with the range comment.you are doing yourself and the deer a disservice by not being proficent with your firearm of choice.Best to get some range time in with some different guns pick the one you like best and practice.
