this is absolutely the complete opposite of common practice! yea they may retaliate if you call DNR but that means they get in worse trouble, letting it lie is definitely not the way to solve a problem, besides teaching the child whats right before he adopts his fore bearers ideals on hunting ethics is the best way to stop it in the future.

I would have called a Game Warden LONG before now to let them handle it.
this action clearly indicates they need some education on Ethical Hunting Practices.

Hey man, I don't blame you for being upset. I WOULD call the Game Warden. Have them come out, explain what happened, take them to the spot where the trespassers were at. Allow the game warden to stay there and catch them in the act. They are most likely to come back to the same spot.

Please call your county Game Warden and notify them of what is happening. It's now in YOUR hands to have this stopped. If they have done this once, they will do it again.
