which rifle should i choice there is so many as i siad in my other threads i have a lot of room to shoot. i am in the process of choosing my rifle and here are my choices a 243,223,22,308,270 all at the price of $399 so which 1 should i choose. |
i would go with the .270 if your hunting fields and you can handle the gun. if you need to step down in size but are going to be in the fields i would go with the .243 |
I would go wi th the .308 Buckfever what do you mean handle the gun? does a .270 have recoil? |

no problem |
I think that they are all good choices except for the 22. It's too small of a caliber for any large game. I've been using a Rem. 710 30-06 for just about my whole life and I swear by it. My next choice would definitely be a 270 (one of your choices). But that's my opinion and I think the next person might say that an 06 and a 270 aren't very good at all but that's why it's a forum right. But whatever you choose take it to the range and shoot it all the time so when the moment of truth arrives you'll have no doubts and you'll have confidence and you'll know your rifles limitations. |
I have a Ruger M77 mark 2 and i love it on the range never shot a deer with it yet maybe this weekend. |
