i got a remington 30-06 model 710. fair price and good shootin gun but its got a stinkin plastic trigger. that kinda struck me as odd. im just waiting for it to break into. guess ill have to go buy a replacement if im gonna cry about it.

You realize it will break at the most inopportune time. Check remington website and see about a replacement before it becomes a must. After the first of the year, they may have a sale.:goodposting:

My dad has a 7mm mag its a savage and it kills on both ends.the cheap shells are about 30 dollars a box, what a rip off.I can buy 3 boxes of 243 shells for that.Overall i dont think 7mm mag are a good idea for this area.
I shoot the 7mm Mag. but I dont buy my bullets I hand load them it's much cheaper espcially since I shoot it alot out of season.
